Everything Mart says about money is (probably) true. Information was sourced from Wikipedia and from the US Bureau of Engraving and Printing. A special thank you to everyone who answered my silly survey on the message board, especially Susan (for providing links) and Kaye (for tips on terminology - which I've probably gotten wrong anyway).

Other Notes
Spoilerish notes have been written in white against the white background. To read them, highlight them with your mouse.
- All books, people and places are entirely fictional.
- Part 2.20: the stained glass window is based on one in the church I grew up in. The layout of the church is based on one I visited once somewhere in rural New South Wales. I've forgotten exactly where it was.
- Part 2.31: 'Grow, yawn, disorientated. Come back with profit.' - Take the letters of 'grow, yawn' and rearrange them (they are disorientated) to become 'wrong way', or disorientated. Come back could be rephrased as 'return', as could profit. So, the right answer to the clue is 'Wrong way. Return.'
- Part 2.32: 'Tutankhamen eats rib and half of canary feeder.' - Tutankhamen is often abbreviated as Tut. So, Tut 'eats' rib, giving us t-rib-ut. Then, we add half of canary, which results in tribut+ary, or feeder. The correct answer is tributary.
- Part 2.32: 'Rise to spinning toy on apex.' - Rise is another name for a hill. A spinning toy is a top. Add the two together and the result is clued as apex. The correct answer is hilltop.
- Part 2.32: 'They say that northern Europeans have ending.' - 'They say' indicates that you’re looking for two words that sound the same. Finnish, or northern Europeans, sound like finish, or ending. The correct answer is finish.
